| Although Dyani has overcome a few milestones in her life, we hit one that was beyond our control. After doing some testing on Dyani, we had learned that she was suffering from a brain tumor. There was no medication or surgery available to remove the tumor. As hard as it was and as much as we didn't want to, we laid her to rest on May 19th 2008. Words can't explain the hurt and sorrow that everyone here at S.O.S. KENNELS has encountered by this tremendous loss. We would like for you to please have a moment of silence for our beloved, Dyani! For all of those who knew her, please remember the love she had for everyone and everything, her amazing temperment, the love she had for each and every one of her pups, and her amazing ability to hunt. We just can't say enough about our Dyani! She will always be on our minds and forever in our hearts. We look forward to the day we meet again....as life on earth will not be the same without our precious Dyani....... |

| Do to an unfortunate incident, Sadie's life was cut short on June 30th, 2006. Although she was only with us a short period of time, we can still say that we could not have asked for a better puppy. She was so easy to train and loved to hunt. We will miss her dearly until we meet again. |

One day we decided, to get another pup...
We searched the web, when this ad popped up.
We drove to Virginia, the very next day...
Which was a little over, 5 hours away.
I walked inside, only to see...
These precious eyes, looking up at me.
She was an amazing pup, from the start...
With her temperment and love, she stole my heart.
As she grew, I could see..
How everyday, she was more like me.
Dyani had a desire to hunt...
That everyone dreams of, and would want.
She would hunt all day, and all night...
Hunting over her, was such a delight.
She was a mother...
Who was like no other.
Those who knew her, can agree...
As through her puppies, they can see.
When a dog came by, and Maverick was attacked...
Dyani was there, to protect his back.
Dyani was a loyal friend...
Up until her life, came to an end.
We will never forget....
The hour drive, to the vet.
It was the day, her test results were done...
And our heart ake, had just begun.
Dyani had a brain tumor, that had begun to grow...
And we had to decide, to let her go.
You tell yourself, it isn't true...
What you are, about to do.
She closes her eyes, and she is gone...
To a higher place, about and beyond.
Dyani isn't on this earth anymore...
So we charish her memories even more.
WHERE OH WHERE, HAS OUR DYANI GONE...
TO A HAPPIER PLACE, ABOVE AND BEYOND!
Then the reality, begins to set in...
As you pick up, her lifeless chin.
For a moment, you look up in the sky...
And begin, to wonder why?
The answer came, that very day...
When we relized, God took all her pain away.
We could not have asked, for anything more...
Then to know, she would suffer no more.
We brough her body, back home that day...
Where all we could do, was cry and pray.
In the end, we knew we had done what was best...
As we laid her lifeless body to rest.

SOS suffered another traumatic
loss on December 24th 2008.
Cabela's time on earth ended
after she suffered from a stroke
early morning December 24th.
As you can see(to the right), she
was very close to our youngest
daughter. Cabela was always her
pillow! Our daughter misses her
deaply as she looks around the
room to see where her best friend
has gone!! Unfortunately, Cabela
hadn't produced any pups for us.
Cabela will live on through our
other Weims as they absorbed
her love and personality from
being around her. For all you
who met Cabela while you were
here to visit, you know she was
the best of the best and she had
alot of potential. Our dreams
with Cabela will live on as we
work with our other Weims. We
will love her forever and ever!!
She sure will be misses by
everyone at SOS!! More pictures

Once Again, SOS suffered another traumatic loss on January 21st 2009. Keiki's time on earth ended
early after a brain aneurysm has taken her life. We knew from the time she was 8 weeks that she was
going to be an amazing hunter. She sure showed us that her daddy's(FC Magnum's King Of Aces)
genes were passed onto her. It was such a blessing to have Keiki with us for this short time. She sure
will be missed. Keiki will live on through her 10 pups. For all you who met Keiki while you were
here to visit, you know she was very loving to everyone and every animal. All she wanted to do was
hunt and make new friends. We will love her forever and ever!!

| The Rainbow bridge There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the rainbow bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. They play all day with each other. There in only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loves them on Earth. So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up! The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group! You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together never to be separated. ---Unknown-- |
One day we decided... to add another breed
So, we went to the web... looking for a lead.
And to our surpise... we had learned
That Weims were part GSP... the Weims we yearned.
Searching the web... looking for a Weim
Is where we spent... alot of our time.
And through our search... we had found this girl
And after some thought... decided to give her a whirl.
Her name was Cabela... she was here to stay
We knew we were bless with her... that very day.
She went up the stairs... right to the door
It was almost as if ...she was here before.
I opened the door...and let her in
She went to our daughter... who gave her a grin.
It was from that time... we now look back and can see
That where ever our daughter was... Cabela would be.
Beside the pack-n-play... Cabela would lay
As our daughter... would sit and play.
And when it was time... for our daughter to go to bed
right beside her... is where Cabela would rest her head.
When our daughter would cry... Cabela was near
Trying to comfort her... as she licked her tears.
We always knew... that Cabela was here to stay
As our daughter would NEVER let us... give her away.
I couldn't have imagined... that morning as I woke
That Cabela had been taken... due to a stroke.
A day filled with sadness... as we would greve
Not what we hoped for... on our Christmas eve.
With the family we met... as planned for that day
Trying to keep... all the tears away.
I have always joked... about having bad luck
But really believed it... when my moms present revealed a pup!
As I held the pup... I started to cry
Everyone looking... and wondering why
Trying not to ruin... everyones Christmas Eve
I just looked up and said... "It's precious, I wish it was for me!
On the way home... we talked about how blessed we were
to have had the chance... to live with her.
Her wonderful memories... we would never replace
Expecially that smile... she could put on our daughters face!
And although our daughter... is to young to understand
Why she could no longer feel... Cabela with her tiny hand
She will continue to see her... as she drifts off the that happy place
Where we still get a glimps... of that precious smile on her face!
And as she grows... through the pictures she'll see
That she had the BEST friend... that there ever could be.
And with all the stories... we have to tell her about
we know she will remember her... without a doubt!

And with the memories.... Cabela has left us with
it is now time... for GOD to be filling her dish!
