| Roxie was a wonderful dog from puppy up. While Roxie was training, at 12 weeks of age, she ran into a bush searching for birds when a stick got her in the left eye. Unfortunately, her eye couldn't be saved. Through all this, it just made her so much stronger. She seems to rely on her nose more since she lost her eye. Roxie would be concidered a "once in a lifetime" dog by many hunters. This girl has brains, style and personality. She is a "do it all" dog and she loves to do it. She scored a perfect 112 on her NAVHDA Natural Ability test. A finish gundog, Roxie, points, honors and retrieves to hand. She is also steady to flush, shot and she hunts dead. While she is at home, she acts like a very big puppy. Always wanting to play with the kids and then just lay down on the couch for her nap. |
