| She is 100% blind! |
Seeno comes from our own breeding between Beau and Beretta. When she was 1 week old,
her mom got mastitis and the infection sat behind her eyes....causing her to be 100% blind.
After some testing, they determined that surgery was not an option for her. Being blind didn't
effect her pride. She is a fun loving girl who loves to explore with her feet, nose and ears. It
is amazing what this girl can/has learned. Jeremy dreams to hunt her has come true. She has
ran her first AKC Junior Hunt test in Wellsville, PA on March 27th 2010 and passed with 8's
and 9's. We are SO proud of her! After juniors, Jeremy will try for Seniors. The biggest
obstacle will be to train her to quarter right and left by the tone of the whistle ... some would
say impossible, but you need to see this girl before you say it is impossible for her. She is just
an amazing girl!
We did not decide to keep Seeno with any intentions of breeding her. We just decided to
keep her since we wanted to make sure she would still have a fulfilling life, even though she is
blind. But as it turns out, beside being blind, Seeno is no different from the other females we
have here. Come meet her and you will see the true miracle we have on our hands! Because
Seeno has been an amazing girl from day 1, passed her health clearances, received her Junior
Hunt test title and an amazing temperament....we decided to add her to our breeding program.
