S.O.S. KENNELS was invited, by Pennsylania Outdoor Life this year again and although we
didn't shoot any of the grouse that the dogs found for us, they still ran the show to show that
not every hunt is a full success.  We plan on adding that show also as soon as time allows.

          Hello and thanks for stopping in!
SOS kennels is located in the scenic farmlands of Pine Grove,
Pennsylvania.  We are approx 45 minutes north of Harrisburg and 5
minutes off of Interstate 81.  We specialize in German Shorthaired
Pointers but we also share a similar passion for Weimaraners.  We breed
to Improve, Preserve and Enhance the characteristics that make these
breeds so unique.  These characteristics are excellent temperament,
confirmation, intelligence, trainability and natural hunting ability.  Our
dogs also compete in AKC hunt tests and have been proven to be great
hunters.

everything as accurate as possible but like everyone else, we do make
mistakes. So, if you find any mistakes, please let us know.
We update our website often as things are always changing and new
updates are always coming.  Most often, we are running behind at
updating things as we are so involved in our busy life( with our children,
dogs, and puppies) that sometimes it seems like a few minutes of

As much as we don't like to do this, we feel we need to do it to protect our reputation.  Please beware of a LOCAL breeder who
is trying to be a SOS IMITATOR!  As you will see, she is stealing the words right off our website(word for word, at that).  She is
also saying "They" on her website, myspace and puppy adds, when in deed it's only her.  We put many of hours into the
research of a GSP, our dogs, our pups, and into our website.  It's a true shame that someone else don't have enough faith in
themselves or their dogs!  We aren't trying to run a monopoly as far as being the ONLY GSP breeder in the US.  We are
hobbyists that enjoy what we do and all the while we are doing it, we are making sure to improve the breed.  Please research
your breeder before purchasing your pup from them.  If we don't have pups at the time you are looking for a pup, or we don't
have your coloring you are looking for, we CAN AND WILL refer you to ANOTHER REPUTABLE BREEDER!  Please call us

"Computer Time" is hard to come by.  But never the less, the most important things are updated first.  If you see something of
interest, please let us know.
Our satisfaction rating, thus far, is 100% and we intend on keeping it that way.  We guarantee our dogs with a written 3 year
health guarantee and do whatever we can to satisfy our new puppy owners.  We are always here to help in anyway we can.  Not

We start receiving deposits, for most litters, 6 to 12 months in advance. We have a large list of satisfied clients and a list of

US and also have some pups in Canada. If you look at the love we have for our dogs, the time we put into our dogs, look at
the pedigrees(as we have some of the best in the country), come meet us and meet our dogs....you will see why we are one of the
few breeders who have a waiting list!!
